All of us got up nice and early this Sat morning (4am??) to make our way to school and then to the markets to distribute brochures for ASYC Carnival. Here's our staff hard at work at Cho Ba Diem:

It's our first water play for the kids - and were they excited!! The Nursery and K1 classes had great fun but not the Pre-N as many were not well.

ActivBoard Training

The trainer from VISCO came down today to familiarize our teachers with the Promothean ActivBoard. The Alpha Schools - Vietnam has training sessions for all teachers at least once a month to keep pace with developments in teaching and pedagogy.

TAIK Carnival Day

Our "sister" TAIK organized a special Friday Treat and invited ASYC to send some students over. We gladly accepted the invitation and ASYC kids certainly enjoyed themselves there.

15 Students now

We are happy that 15 students have enrolled with us since we opened on 8 Jun 09. Despite having more work, teachers are now happier as they have more children to look after.
