Penmanship

I never cease to wonder at the beautiful Vietnamese penmanship. Students are made to perfect their handwriting right from preschool. It's no wonder that many Vietnamese adults have truly marvellous penmanship. If only 10% of this was practiced in Singapore, teachers will not have such a hard time deciphering students' handwriting. Just look at the standard of 5-year old Vietnamese kids here :
