Mid-Autumn Festival 2013

Once again, Mid-Autumn Festival descends upon us as we celebrate the traditional harvest during the autumn full moon. Teachers were hard at work as usual, this time designing lanterns for craft lessons, working on the backdrop for the stage and preparing our children for a celebration. Thank you, teachers, and especially our two talented MCs, Ms Phuong and Ms Hoai.

So what's new for School Year 2013/2014

For a start, ASYC teachers designed their own uniforms - they had wanted a more feminine uniform. We also purchased a new play-slide for our kids. The walls of all classrooms have been tiled for a cleaner look. It also makes it easier for teachers to clean up after removing the decoration. We did away with white tiles which made the class look like a hospital ward. Hopefully these patterned tiles will give a different impression.

Back to School

Everyone's excited to be back in school...well, not everyone really. The young ones have grown too comfortable at home to the extent that they don't want to come back to school. So teachers had to work extra hard to entice them back to class. The concert did help in some way. Let's have a look :
